Please join us for the annual service commemorating the Emancipation Proclamation that jumpstarted the abolition of chattel slavery in America reserved only for African descendants January 1, 1863. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Rashad Richey of WAOK & V103 Radio, regular MSNBC commentator, Rolling Out Magazine Editor, Political Analyst for CBS46 News and general activist. Other guest speakers will be Rabbi Bradley Levenberg, Fulton County Commissioner Natalie Hall, and Rev. Dr. Gregory Sutton. Proceeds from the event will help fund Census outreach and voter mobilization efforts in 2020. Rev. Dr. James Milner and Georgia State Representative Able Malbe Thomas will be recognized for their service to the community.
